7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver
Location: Pershore, Worcestershire
Salary: £11.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 3.00am - midday and Saturday 3:30am - Finish on a rota basis
The Company:
Worcester Produce (a department of Ferryfast Produce Ltd) is an established supplier of fresh produce to the food service industry. We are looking for a new delivery driver to join our team
Duties include:
- Check through ALL orders thoroughly to ensure Quality and Quantity are correct
- Finish any orders and collate shortages left by night team
- Load the vehicle when required
- Deliver Orders within allotted time scales to specific customers’ needs
- Make sure deliveries are left correctly or checked off with chefs / customers
- Collect produce and packaging / crate collections as requested and collect cash dependant on customer
- Keeping your vehicle well maintained and presentable
- Liaise with customer regarding the order and resolve any queries
The Candidate:
- You MUST have a full driving licence and Cat C1 and experience of driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
- You MUST be 21 or older to be covered for driving a company vehicle
- You MUST have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
- An in date digital tachograph & CPC card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR's)
- You will also need to be to be physically fit and able to regularly lift up to 25kg's
- This is a customer facing role so good communication skills and a tidy appearance is a must
- Experience of using Satellite Navigation system
- Good communication skills
