Information on peeled garlic
As some of our customers are finding, the new season crop of peeled garlic is experiencing a certain amount of ‘bleaching’. This is when the first harvests of the new crop garlic are made and some of the bulbs that are harvested are harvested slightly prematurely and are not fully grown. You may see a small number of cloves in the bag are slightly translucent in colour and may have a slightly stronger garlic aroma than usual. We can assure this is not a cause for concern and the product is perfectly fit for purpose.
